EXPERIENCE:
- With more than 20 years of marketing and event management, Jamie Wright brings
a wealth of experience in Brand Marketing to the Global DemandWidth board.
- Mrs Wright began her carreer in Brand marketing in Houston Texas where served
for eleven years as the Marketing and Special Events Director for First Interstate Bank of Texas
- Leaving the bank to form her own company in the field,Jamie took her extensive experience and creative passion to found Good & Wright, formerly The Wright
Touch, which specializes in event planning and corporate marketing initiatives.
- Jamie has lent her expertise and savvy know-how to such corporate powerhouses
as Coca-Cola, Hines, Silver Eagle Distributors, Sabic Americas and Major League Baseball as well as model non-profit organizations such as MD Anderson Cancer Center, Child Advocates, Ronald McDonald House, Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation and more.
- From designing, organizing and implementing fundraising initiatives and sponsorship programs to naming, creating and activating the brand of a new high-end luxury
high-rise, Jamie has consistently delivered flawless activation and successful
results.
- Jamie is very active and well-connected throughout the event industry as well as
the Houston community. Although not a native Texan, Jamie graduated from the University of St. Thomas and her roots and her heart have remained in Houston. Actively involved with the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, Jamie currently serves on their board and is a passionate advocate for their mission. Jamie's philanthropic involvement has also included serving on the board of The University
of St. Thomas Marketing & Public Affairs Council, The United Way Fund
Development & Brand Marketing Officer and The Volunteer Center of Houston.
- A resident of Bellaire, Jamie and her husband, Wes, spend their free time with
their two sons Travis and Trevor.
