EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR OF GLOBAL DEMANDWITH LLC.:

Kimberlee serves the role as the Executive Director of Deaf Services for Global Demandwith LLC., whose primary goal is to provide 21st century access in the form of services and technology to the Deaf and Hard of Hearing Communities throughout the nation.

EXPERIENCE:

Kim graduated from the University Of Utah, with a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology as well as an Associate degree in Interpreting Training, from Salt Lake Community College (SLCC). Her experience in the interpreting field includes: classroom interpreting, teaching ASL and the establishment a business ventures related to Deaf and Hard of Hearing.

Kimberlee, served until recently in with the Clark County School District (5th largest in the nation) as an Interpreter Specialist. Respective to CCSD, her duties includes coordinating, managing and scheduling classroom interpreters and independent contractors for DHH services to students throughout the district and oversaw the RFP process to screen and hire DHH independent contractors for the district. She has played a pivotal role in the development and implementation of Educational Interpreter policy and procedure manual for Clark County School District and acted as a special advisor to the State of Nevada and its legislature on Deaf issues.

Kimberlee Holloway was born in Salt Lake City Utah to a father who was “Second generation” deaf and a hearing mother and grew up in a home using American Sign Language (ASL) and English as dual modes of communication.

HONORS:

Throughout her career, Kimberlee has persisted in working in a leadership role and a quest for excellence to in her field. She has attained national interpreting certification RID/CT, NIC and EIPA.

Kimberlee regularly performs freelance interpreting services for legal, federal and state court assignments. Most notable, include but are not limited to President Bill Clinton and Senator John Kerry.

She has served as a member of the Nevada Legislative Task Force on Interpreting and on the board of the Nevada Registry of Interpreters for the Deaf. For the past three years, Kimberlee, independently, contracted with Nevada Regional Transportation Commission, committee on Older Americans with Disabilities for communication purposes.

The Las Vegas Metro Police Department contracted with her to develop a training course to be used in compliance with the Department of Justice mandate for deaf inmates and the American with Disabilities Act. Kimberlee has 9 years of post secondary interpreting, curriculum development and classroom experience, specifically teaching ASL and Deaf Studies classes at Community College of Southern Nevada (CCSN) and Nevada State College (NSC).
